MASK LITMUS TEST<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n
A Comprehensivist Viewpoint
\n<\/span><\/strong>Revealing Our Lack of Moral Leadership<\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

In this article, I\u2019m sharing observations that have been ruminating in my mind since last summer.\u00a0 It dawned on me that adherence to the various mask mandates was an obvious, visible litmus test of our current human population\u2019s thought processes\u2026 and a less obvious indication of a Lack of Moral Leadership… and that this behavior accurately mirrors my Leader\/Follower hypothesis.<\/p>\n

Litmus Test Definition<\/span><\/h4>\n

: <\/strong>A test in which a single factor (such as an attitude, event, or fact) is decisive.<\/em><\/p>\n

Litmus Test has Scientific Origins<\/em>
\nIt was in the 14th century that scientists discovered that litmus<\/a>, a mixture of colored organic compounds obtained from lichen<\/a>, turns red in acid solutions and blue in alkaline solutions and, thus, can be used as an acid-base indicator. Six centuries later, people began using litmus test figuratively. It can now refer to any single factor that establishes the true character of something or causes it to be assigned to one category or another. Often it refers to something (such as an opinion about a political or moral issue) that can be used to make a judgment about whether someone or something is acceptable or not.<\/em><\/p>\n

Obvious Observations<\/span><\/h4>\n

Last summer and fall, I traveled around the States of Oregon, northern California, and northern Nevada.\u00a0 Regardless of what County I was in, I noticed virtually the same reaction and response to the mask mandates by the general public\u2026 a vast majority wore them and a small minority didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

County policies, as expressed by the Sheriff \u2014the chief law enforcement officer\u2014 varied, but what struck me was the consistency of the public\u2019s response\u2026 demonstrating their beliefs with their mask preference, if you will.<\/p>\n

(And when I say the \u2018public\u2019 I\u2019m referring to those who are generally out,
\nnot those working in businesses bound to unconstitutional corporate or government policies.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Another interesting observation was that jurisdictional policies didn\u2019t seem to matter.\u00a0 In sparse, rural counties with no legal mandates, the Leader\/Follower mask pattern prevailed.\u00a0 I attribute that to the overwhelming influence of the regional and national pharmaceutical\/politically controlled media\u2026 which also supports the Leader\/Follower hypothesis.<\/p>\n

IMHO, the media grossly misrepresented the situation and ignored basic scientific facts.\u00a0 Their misrepresentations and omissions coupled with the \u2018worldwide vaccine deprivation experiment\u2019 mandate that was unilaterally forced on the world population, understandably wreaked havoc on well-meaning local and regional Leaders and Followers alike\u2026 enough to coerce many of them into the mask-wearing frenzy.<\/p>\n

That was the first time in my adult life that I\u2019ve experienced such a universal, calculated, divisive, and manipulative campaign of misinformation\u2026 all focused on driving people \u2014by any means possible\u2014 to get a vaccine.\u00a0 Bribing and coercing people with their freedoms, privileges, and livelihoods caused polarization and outright dissent. \u00a0\u00a0I can certainly understand why these parochial and forceful campaigns caused many to resist on those grounds alone.<\/p>\n

Leader\/Follower Analogy<\/span><\/h4>\n

Regardless of the discord represented within each group\u2026 what struck me was the overall consistency of their responses, and how they perfectly aligned with my Leader\/Follower hypothesis.\u00a0 (See Leader\/Follower article<\/span><\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n

To recap the article highlights\u2026 humankind since its beginning naturally falls into one of these two categories.\u00a0 All known societies demonstrate this\u2026 even animal groups demonstrate it.\u00a0 Two things are relevant here\u2026<\/p>\n
