2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">President\u2019s Day 2024<\/span><\/h1>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><strong><em>A Somber Comprehensivist\u2019s Assessment<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Listen\u2026<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you can find a quiet place\u2026 and listen\u2026 you can hear the fabric of America shredding.<\/p>\n<p>We have arrived\u2026 we are here&#8230; at the appointed time that so many visionaries, pundits, and prognosticators have warned us about\u2026 that time in our short history when fear overwhelmed faith&#8230; and our Republic faltered.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>Benjamin Franklin\u2019s words come to mind\u2026 \u2018A Republic\u2026 if you can keep it\u2019<\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Actually\u2026 what you are hearing is your own energetic self sinking deeper into the dark and foreboding abyss of intellectual darkness and distress\u2026 that murky place where the tension is paralyzing\u2026 and hope seems frightfully far away.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>If our country was a car\u2026 I\u2019d say it has its check engine light on\u2026 and was in limp mode.<br \/>\n<\/em><em>If our country was self-diagnosing\u2026 I\u2019d say it has a 105\u02da fever with serious inflammation that<br \/>\n\u2014if not treated immediately\u2014 will kill it.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And like most things that affect humans\u2026 the cause of what got US here is not some singular momentous event\u2026 but is instead an accumulation of a host of continuous unheeded crises that caused our decline and destruction\u2026 and the most visible cause and damage can be attributed to the highest and most visible position of authority in our country\u2026 the office of President of our United States.<\/p>\n<p>Much like our human health \u2014which is also coincidentally declining at an alarming rate\u2014 this office\u2026 or more appropriately, those who occupy it\u2026 have lost sight of the fundamentals that created and sustained our national and personal health\u2026 our natural energetic balance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Giving and Receiving<\/span><\/h2>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 280px;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>Challenging times hopefully create Givers &amp; Receivers<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Givers &amp; Receivers hopefully create prosperity<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Prosperity invariably creates Takers<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Takers always create challenging times<br \/>\n<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Energyman<\/span><\/h6>\n<p>This natural energetic balance is demonstrated in the age-old energetic act of giving and receiving.\u00a0 When both sides honor and value their participation&#8230; mutual respect, and satisfaction are created that support and bolster both party&#8217;s experiential history.\u00a0 But, when egoically-driven fear controls this exchange, it morphs into a dysfunctional pattern of giving and taking\u2026 where the taker does not respect or honor the givers&#8217; contributions.\u00a0 This energetic taking dramatically alters the balance and intent which creates mistrust\u2026 and if not overtly corrected\u2026 can lead to destructive imbalances.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>The crux of our problem is, we are dangerously out of energetic balance\u2026<br \/>\nand the source of that imbalance is rooted in the Presidency.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Our Energetic Balance<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For decades, I\u2019ve been sharing my \u2018Balanced Organism\u2019 thesis.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>I believe that everything\u2026 from the entire universe\u2026<br \/>\nto a drop of water\u2026 to basic hydrogen\u2026 is a balanced organism.<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Astrologically\u2026 biologically\u2026 chemically\u2026 structurally\u2026<br \/>\nall dynamically balanced energy.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Consider this a macro representation of the Natural Law.\u00a0 Our earth and everything created on it is subject to this Natural Law of dynamic balance.\u00a0 Humanity\u2019s long history shows a steady awakening and awareness toward an understanding of this naturally occurring truism.\u00a0 What we seem to have missed is the exponential rate at which it occurs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Exponential Factor<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Consider that any form of propagation\u2026 happens naturally and effortlessly at an exponential rate\u2026 as long as the environment can sustain it.\u00a0 Consider trees, plants, animals, and humans\u2026 effortlessly and exponentially evolving\u2026 in a balanced environment.<\/p>\n<p>We must take this exponential factor into account when trying to understand and predict natural and human processes&#8230; if not, we will surely \u2018miss the mark\u2019 (sin) in our understanding and projections.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>Consider <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #0a5252; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.worldometers.info\/world-population\/world-population-by-year\/\">human population growth in Billions<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0 Our planet \u00a0reached<br \/>\nour 1<sup>st<\/sup> billion in 1804\u2026 our 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in 1927\u2026 our 3<sup>rd<\/sup> in 1960\u2026 our 4<sup>th<\/sup> in 1975\u2026<br \/>\nour 5<sup>th<\/sup> in 1987\u2026 our 6<sup>th<\/sup> in 1999\u2026 our 7<sup>th<\/sup> in 2011\u2026 and our 8<sup>th<\/sup> in 2023.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Three things jump out at me&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The curve starts to become more linear after we reach 3 Billion in 1960.<\/li>\n<li>The rate of doubling also becomes more linear.<\/li>\n<li>The sheer increase and volume of people showing up at this point in world history.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\">This is despite natural disasters, wars, societal norms, increased immune distress, and natural attrition.<\/span><\/em><\/h6>\n<p>In its broadest sense, we have to realize that exponential growth brings with it commensurate exponential needs\u2026 consider basic needs, like sustenance and shelter.\u00a0 Then add all of the trappings we \u2018modern\u2019 humans consider essential\u2026 like indoor plumbing, flush toilets, kitchen and work appliances, communication and entertainment devices, and various transportation modes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dynamic Energy Evolution<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Production and maintenance of all this infrastructure requires design and production (time), capital (money), and educational training and disciplines (energy).\u00a0 So, we see that research, design, development, and production are also occurring at an exponential rate.\u00a0 So much so, that the adaption rate of human consciousness to these ever-evolving advancements is struggling to keep up.<\/p>\n<p>All of this technology\u2026 initially heralded as societal time savers is now an intellectual time burden.\u00a0 We\u2019ve become slaves to the very technology that was supposed to free us from laborious tasks.<\/p>\n<p>How did that happen?\u00a0 Somewhere along the way\u2026 in the 1960\u2019s\u2026 the Babyboom generation became mesmerized by all of the possibilities\u2026 and they ungrounded themselves \u2014both literally and figuratively\u2014 from their naturally occurring and experientially ingrained lifestyles and spiritual practices.\u00a0 More accurately they became distracted\u2026 and started violating the established Natural Law of energetic balance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Distraction\u2026<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u2026had a powerful and mesmerizing effect on this generation, who were just coming of age.\u00a0 They were drawn to all the intellectual creations and possibilities, and became the media and entertainment industries\u2019 vanguard generation \u2014and because of their sheer population size\u2014 propelled major lifestyle and social changes in our culture.<\/p>\n<p>All of this created a \u2018brain candy\u2019 stimulus that was addictive.\u00a0 The net result was wholesale changes to generations\u2019 old norms and traditions\u2026 and the energetic part of US that suffered the most was our spiritual practices.\u00a0 Babyboomers and then their offspring\u2026 the Gen Xer\u2019s\u2026 immersed themselves in this massive, intellectually stimulated, technological boom, without much apparent thought or care about the long-term consequences&#8230; they were otherwise distracted, and the part that suffered the most was their soul\/Spirit identity.<\/p>\n<p>This pattern continued \u2014virtually uninterrupted\u2014 through the Millennials and Gen Zer\u2019s\u2026 so today in the US, we have four continuous generations indoctrinated in a culture that is;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>intellectually immersed in timesaving devices and processes, yet have no time\u2026<\/li>\n<li>emotionally inundated in mindless chatter and noise, yet have no peace\u2026<\/li>\n<li>subjected to virtually nonstop displays of gratuitous, graphic, violence as a form of entertainment, and yet don\u2019t comprehend the impact of all the violence around them&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>suffering from a substantial spiritual energy imbalance, that affects every aspect of our being.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The simplest way I can describe this is that we currently have 4 Generations of egoically-oriented, Adult-Children in America.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/generational-perspective\/\"><em>(<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">See Generational Perspectives<\/span>)<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Intellectual Abyss<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Our Country\u2026 is a hot mess.\u00a0 We\u2019ve industrialized \u2014for profit\u2014 every aspect of our existence at the expense of our generational family traditions, our family structure, and our children&#8217;s innocence.\u00a0 Gone are the ingrained and supporting familial and social structures that helped transition generations through their progressive maturation.\u00a0 Gone are the necessary human nourishment and spiritual support structures that traditionally protected our young.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the air is tainted\u2026 the water is tainted\u2026 the food lacks vital nutrients because the soil is tainted\u2026 our flora and fauna support systems are seriously damaged\u2026 which inevitably damages US&#8230; all of our own doing\u2026 all because we succumbed to the egoic allure of undisciplined mind distractions\u2026 in other words\u2026 we lost our core energetic sustaining familial and sustaining soul\/Spirit Balance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Energetic and Sustaining Balance<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When I speak of energetic and sustaining balance, my primary focus and concern is the loss of moral balance because of a wholesale abandonment of Spiritual practices\u2026 of not making the time each day to contemplate and balance out the experientially accumulated events with spiritually inspired wisdom.\u00a0 This lack of process has had a decided impact and effect on each generation\u2019s collective experiential patterning\u2026 since it\u2019s a Natural Law engrained pattern.<\/p>\n<p>To me, there\u2019s an obvious connection to various other imbalances that plague all four generations\u2026 like energy imbalances identified as <a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/faith-not-fear\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Faith\/fear<\/span><\/a> issues\u2026 alkaline\/acid imbalances leading to chronic health issues\u2026 and health maintenance\/fight-or-flight imbalances related to chronic physiological and emotional issues.\u00a0 These imbalances are tangential manifestations of the energies that work with or against each other, every day of our lives.\u00a0 Ultimately, each one of US, in every generation, becomes the living embodiment that becomes the collective US.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>IF our daily experiential patterns are devoid of spiritual influence<br \/>\n\u2014and thus moral patterning\u2014<br \/>\ncan we expect any other outcome than the one we are currently experiencing?<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Do you remember the saying\u2026 \u2018Every Choice Has a Consequence\u2019?\u00a0 The complete saying includes this\u2026\u00a0 \u2018Not Choosing Is a Choice\u2019.\u00a0 We are experiencing the consequences of our choosing and not choosing\u2026 and the outcomes are predictable when we finally realize that many of our past choices were devoid of spiritually grounded, moral overtones.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>The good news\u2026 it\u2019s not too late to choose better.<\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The Presidency, Then<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The creation of the Presidency was a hotly debated topic during the Constitutional Convention.\u00a0 Because of their experience with a Monarchy\u2026 the Founders shied away from the idea of a single person with far-reaching powers and authority and leaned toward a multiple-person board to fill the office.\u00a0 Other initial considerations, were limited authority, no power to wage war, single term\u2026 generally, they wanted the majority of the authority to be vested in the Congress.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, the founders recognized the need for 3 separate and equal branches&#8230; and the presidency would have the task and duty of being the ultimate arbitrator and enforcer of Congressional legislation.\u00a0 This office was charged with ultimately passing judgment over Congressional work product, to approve or reject their interpretations and refinements to our Constitutional landscape&#8230; and then monitor how the States interpreted and adapted these changes into their individual State Constitutions.<\/p>\n<p>The President ultimately would be the Chief law enforcer of our Federal system.\u00a0 This branch was an equally critical component of the Founders&#8217; original vision of limited, separate, and equal representation of the Sovereigns&#8217; delineated, self-management process.<\/p>\n<p>So, how did they get to what was penned in the document?\u00a0\u00a0 Many weeks of debate\u2026 sharing and listening\u2026 consensus building\u2026 until they created the vision and office outlined in our Constitution.\u00a0 They came to see the role of the President as a visible presence&#8230; one of a stabilizing influence&#8230; a focal point to promote ideals and leadership&#8230; to provide a visible, human interface between the government and its citizens.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Founders Vision of the Office of the President<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Article II of our Constitution highlights the details that define the office but does little to define the character of the person in the office.\u00a0 The Founder&#8217;s vision of the role evolved to one of a single figure, whose character and values would visibly represent our country on the national stage.<\/p>\n<p>This person would embody and epitomize the morals and principles that our nation was founded on\u2026 with strong moral convictions, exhibiting Christian\/spiritual values demonstrated through a lifetime of morally guided experience. \u00a0This person would be educated and articulate, demonstrating leadership and stewardship, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills&#8230; and they had a divinely inspired role model in George Washington.<\/p>\n<p>The Founders knew well the <u><a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/leaders-followers\/\">Leader\/Follower principles<\/a><\/u>\u2026 they understood that for generations to come\u2026 a majority of the country\u2019s citizens would be looking to this office for guidance, reassurance, and leadership\u2026 leadership that provided solutions for all the citizens.\u00a0 Their vision of a President was what they actually had&#8230; a man who personified a compassionate yet principled leader, who demonstrated a sense of calm and hopefulness\u2026 who possessed a wholesome vision, and who was not swayed by egoic dalliances and petty differences.<\/p>\n<p>Our current needs and solutions should also be grounded in these same tried and true qualities\u2026 if each of our current generations still recognizes their value and importance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The Presidency&#8230; <\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Reality, and Potential<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Currently, the Presidency is acting like a command center for a multinational conglomerate&#8230; whose primary focus is on business, with little attention or care about the true foundation or health of our nation&#8217;s families.\u00a0 American leadership stopped caring about American families in the 1960&#8217;s.\u00a0 Sadly, the <a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/sovereigns-guidelines\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">2-Major Party Alliance<\/span><\/a> has dramatically altered and expanded that high office with partisan chicanery to the point where the <u><a href=\"http:\/\/ncrepublic.org\/images\/lib\/SenateReport93_549.pdf\">Office of the President can control the government without the aid or consent of Congress<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>\u201cHowever [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.\u201d <\/em>\u2014 George Washington<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That has to stop now.\u00a0 We are NOT on a sustainable path.\u00a0 We must return to the philosophy and experiential patterns that prioritized families.\u00a0 We must learn about our unique history&#8230; about how \u2014over successive generations\u2014 we&#8217;ve evolved away from the disciplines and values that formed our union.<\/p>\n<p>What is the potential of the Presidency?\u00a0 Quite simply&#8230;\u00a0 this office is uniquely suited to use its high visibility to educate and promote a return to familial values and encourage generational reconciliation, encouraging our nation to slow down the exponential technological onslaught&#8230; and find ways to manage its effects on our intergenerational families&#8230; to properly integrate and balance the intellectual and spiritual energies.<\/p>\n<p>The inhabitant of this office has a unique opportunity to create and implement cohesive reconciliation and healing. As a highly visible public figure, the President could promote a return to a morally balanced and focused way of life.\u00a0 The role and capacity of the Presidency should emulate that of a patriarch&#8230; a person whose primary responsibility is to shepherd the able and to protect the voiceless and vulnerable within our society.<\/p>\n<p>This national leadership position could spotlight the current egoically driven, exponential frenzied problems, and provide morally guided ideas and direction that promote intergenerational calm and a return to a sustainable balance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Current Situation and Solutions<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Currently, our country desperately needs presidential leadership that focuses on people, not business.\u00a0 Business should not be the focus of government&#8230; people should be their focus.\u00a0 People, as families&#8230; as neighbors&#8230; as communities&#8230; all wanting to live peacefully&#8230; all wanting to collaborate for mutual prosperity&#8230; much the same way our Founders did.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the majority of the citizens in our country are deeply immersed in vitriolic anger promulgated by purported leaders using relentless fear campaigns designed to specifically control and divide our population.<\/p>\n<p>This pseudo-leadership promotes fear of certain ethnicities and religious sects\u2026 fear of unseen microbials\u2026 fear of authoritative agencies\u2026 fear compounded by fear\u2026 until the citizens are so beaten down that they arrive at this feeling of hopelessness. \u00a0The younger generations, who\u2019ve been immersed in virtually a continuous fear environment are affected the most\u2026 and are lashing out in particularly violent and destructive ways.<\/p>\n<p>The willful and deliberate breakdown of our family structure, combined with the misguided notion of individual independence has created an isolationist mentality and environment.\u00a0 With no other stable and experiential reference, it\u2019s easy to understand how these isolated and confused younger generations lose their way, and lash out in violent and life-altering ways.<\/p>\n<p>We older generations \u2014who know and have experienced family values and ties\u2014 need to IMMEDIATELY devote time and energy to creating intergenerational ties that support and acknowledge our younger family members\u2026 to help them find and feel a sense of belonging and value.<\/p>\n<p>We must stop listening to \u2014and accepting\u2014 fear-laced and divisive speech that foments separation from those in contrived leadership positions.\u00a0 Just because a person has money and access to a microphone\u2026 does not mean that they are a leader.\u00a0 A constructive leader respects and values those who follow them.\u00a0 A morally grounded leader would not violate or misdirect their followers\u2019 needs or values.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Choose Leaders Wisely<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The foundational blessing of our Constitutional Republic is our delineated right to choose those who represent us.\u00a0 I encourage you to carefully choose your leaders.
