America\u2019s Unwitting Flirtation with Democracy<\/span><\/h1>\n

Hopefully, This Dalliance Is A Temporary, Multi-Generational Lapse of Oversight<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

My Observations<\/span><\/h4>\n

As a Babyboomer\u2026 I\u2019ve observed our Country\u2019s political meanderings over the past 3 generations\u2026 (approximately 50 years)<\/em>\u2026 and \u2014as of late\u2014 it\u2019s bold and outright aggrandizement of the egoic, political notion of our country being a Democracy.<\/p>\n

As a wordsmith\u2026 I understand the power of words\u2026 how they control our emotions and feelings.\u00a0 I completely understand that words matter\u2026 I have a keen ear for nuance, expression, and articulation.\u00a0 Consequently, I was struck by the sudden appearance of \u2014and wholesale use of\u2014 the word \u201cdemocracy\u201d during the 2016 election cycle.<\/p>\n

This word seemed to instantly appear\u2026 as if a new script producer took over the 2-Party Collaborative Alliance\u2019s media mill\u2026 because it became the common \u201cnew\u201d reference to describe our chaotic political landscape.\u00a0 Whether watching news programming or dedicated political programming, \u201cdemocracy\u201d was the new description of our conflicted governmental process.<\/p>\n

I must admit, that as a long-time friend and advocate of our Constitutional processes,
\nI was shocked to hear of this gross misrepresentation of our carefully delineated system of established government.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n

<\/h4>\n

Sadly, No Defenders<\/span><\/h4>\n

I was sure, that other respecters and upholders of our generation\u2019s old process would rise up and correct such a gross misrepresentation\u2026 sadly I was mistaken.\u00a0 Media types, Educators, and Jurists\u2026 did not speak out about this gross misrepresentation, and a groundswell of political operatives joined the chorus.<\/p>\n

It was a sad and sobering reminder \u2014to me\u2014 of both generational impact and of the power of massive, repetitive, orchestrated media exposure \u2026 just keep repeating it\u2026 everywhere\u2026 constantly\u2026 and the outcome is predictable.<\/p>\n

In short order, the broadcast media was soon parroting the word\u2026 then the print media. \u00a0I was continually shocked at the way these bastions of liberty and truth in reporting \u2014and thus language\u2014 silently capitulated to this perverse re-naming of our profound distinction\u2026 of our original and unique identification\u2026 as a citizen-owned Constitutional Republic.<\/p>\n

Political Party\u2019s Culpability<\/span><\/h4>\n

There was no attempt made to question, let alone correct this flagrant re-identification.\u00a0 When I started hearing it in both Congressional chambers, I began to realize that this was yet another way that the 2-Party Collaborative Alliance (2-PCA) \u2014through their elected placeholders\u2014 have contextually changed the narrative and thus the tenor and tone of what our government process looks like and how it acts.<\/p>\n

Something to consider\u2026.
\nIn doing so, those in their respective elected positions have overtly violated their Oaths of office\u2026
\na sad, dangerous, and culpable situation.<\/em><\/span><\/h6>\n

Fast forward to the 2024 election cycle, and the results of the acceptance and proliferation of this destructive representation style become apparent.\u00a0 We have a nation of poorly educated, memoryless Followers who now appear to believe that we are indeed a Democracy\u2026 and as an observer of human nature and social patterning\u2026 I have to agree with their assessment, and resultant behavior.<\/p>\n

This constant and relentless insistence that America is a Democracy has worked\u2026 it\u2019s created the very thing that the founders worked diligently to warn us about, and avoid\u2026 we are indeed acting like a Democracy.<\/p>\n

And what\u2019s wrong with current generations acting like a Democracy?<\/p>\n

The highlights include;<\/p>\n
