{"id":271,"date":"2020-09-18T18:51:10","date_gmt":"2020-09-18T18:51:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sovereignhope.temp-web.net\/?page_id=271"},"modified":"2020-11-27T13:33:22","modified_gmt":"2020-11-27T21:33:22","slug":"covert-starvation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/covert-starvation\/","title":{"rendered":"COVERT STARVATION"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h1 class=\"entry-title\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Covert Starvation<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Mark Twain coined the term in an article entitled \u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twainquotes.com\/Bradley\/appetitecure.html\">The Appetite Cure<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u201d published in 1898\u2026<br \/>\nIt describes a practice used at health spas, where providing minimal foods tricked<br \/>\nthe mind into \u201cfeeling fed\u201d while actually inducing a fast and digestive stabilization.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m using this term in a different way\u2026 to describe a current phenomenon created as the result of the proliferation of \u201claboratory\u201d foods\u2026 although I loathe to call these things food\u2026 because the word food intimates that there is naturally bio-available nutritional benefits associated with them\u2026 so I\u2019ll call them <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/naturalhealthcarenw.com\/holistic-news\/frankin-food\/\"><strong>frankin-foods<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Contrast these with real food\u2026 what is food?\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Food is defined as\u2026 \u201c<em>material consisting essentially of protein, carbohydrate, and fat used in the body of an organism to sustain growth, repair, and vital processes and to furnish energy\u201d.<\/em>\u00a0 Unlike Air and Water, food intake can be sporadic\u2026 the only requirement is that the foods provided have nutritional value, as described above. Anything else will create deficiencies that, over time, will manifest into chronic patterns\u2026 which \u2013 if not properly identified \u2013 will degrade into nutritional starvation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Why covert?<\/h2>\n<p>Contrast it with overt\u2026 or obvious.\u00a0 Overt starvation conjures up visions of emaciated people in third world countries\u2026 it\u2019s obvious that they are malnourished\u2026 starving for nutrition.<\/p>\n<p>So, by definition, covert starvation is unknowing or secret starvation.\u00a0 Covert starvation happens in the presence of lots of available frankin-food\u2026 and is totally counter intuitive.\u00a0 It is \u2013 IMHO \u2013 the most widespread crisis in the united States and other developed countries\u2026 countries where highly developed food laboratories have been busy over the past several decades churning out frankin-foods.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800080;\">What do I consider Frankin-Foods?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Anything that is highly processed\u2026 they commonly contain high concentrations of simple sugars, and a myriad of additives to create and enhance appearance, texture and flavors\u2026 in other words, to trick our senses and taste buds into thinking it\u2019s something familiar\u2026 when it\u2019s nutritionally not.<\/p>\n<p>Another layer has appeared over the past two decades with the introduction of genetically modified organisms (GMO\u2019s) and related pesticides and herbicides (Round-up type products).\u00a0 These add another layer of nutritional distress by causing physiological damage to our processing organs\u2026 so not only are we eating nutritionally deficient frankin-foods, but we\u2019re also causing physical damage to the very organs that process and need nutrients.\u00a0 This is causing an acceleration of chronic diseases, many concentrated in the brain and displayed as neurological diseases.\u00a0 For some reason, western medicine refuses to see the connection and deems these frankin-foods and extensive use of chemicals as not detrimental to our body function and process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Extended Frankin-foods<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This refers to the secondary effects of accumulated toxins\u2026 which become concentrated in the primary recipient and passed along.\u00a0 An example of this is poultry that are fed frankin-food items like GMO feed stocks.\u00a0 The toxins accumulate in them and whatever they produce, say eggs for instance\u2026 or when they are harvested\u2026 these toxins are covertly there and passed along.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.cabi.org\/2018\/01\/29\/how-genetically-modified-organisms-gmos-enter-the-food-chain-in-non-gmo-producing-countries\/\"><strong>This analysis<\/strong><\/a>, shows such disturbing issues.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, when buyers do not know the complete origin of the foods they are purchasing, they run the risk of being duped by labeling that creates distractions about obvious issues, such as injected antibiotics or hormones\u2026 and which directs them away from more important and substantial information about what they were fed during their life.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Covert starvation is deceptive\u2026 it does not look or act like starvation.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The only real tattle-tale is the constant appetite\u2026 of never feeling satiated. The body is actually sending an accurate message\u2026 it\u2019s just being mis-interpreted.\u00a0 Conventional thoughts say it \u201cneeds more food\u201d\u2026 while the body is saying it \u201cneeds more nutrients\u201d\u2026 yet we keep giving it the frankin-food\u2026 and the body \u2013 not finding any substantial nutrients \u2013 keeps asking for more\u2026 so we set up a vicious cycle that leads to chronic covert starvation and in many cases \u2013 obesity\u2026 which seems totally counter-intuitive!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #808080;\">And where does all this emanate from?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The brain\u2026 the most voracious user of energy in the body.\u00a0 Our brain constitutes about 2% of our mass, yet consumes about 20% of our energy\u2026 AND it is the regulator of all of our physiological responses\u2026 so it has direct access and input to this nutritional equation. Why is this important to know?\u00a0 Because when the brain becomes energy (nutritionally) starved, our perceptions and activity patterns are altered. To us humans, that \u201clooks like\u201d something is wrong.\u00a0 We become more cautious and manifest many symptoms from mood swings to isolation and depression.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Human health is dependent on quality nutritionally dense food.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Foods extract nutrients from alive and healthy soil, and carries it to us for extraction and conversion to cellular energy.\u00a0 Without this critical chain of events\u2026 we degrade \u2013 physiologically and emotionally\u2026 our life view changes.<\/p>\n<p>We should hold the vision of a terrarium in our mind\u2026 and realize that this cycle is personal, delicate and vital to our existence, let alone our health.\u00a0 Continuing to disregard the delicacy and interconnectedness of our cycle of health is disastrous\u2026 and it will get worst, if left unchecked.\u00a0 We will continue to devolve down to a state of primal existence complete with all the emotional patterns associated with distrust and segregation.\u00a0 <em>The current generations have the ability to set mankind back millennia with this foray into frankin-foods<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The really good news is that this is your personal choice.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There is no law or regulation making you consume this frankin-food\u2026 the only driving force is experiential\u2026 in other words <em>your habits<\/em>. \u00a0You see\u2026 food is a learned habit\u2026 and food consumption takes on many forms\u2026 from tribal, to ceremonial, to emotional.\u00a0 We develop our food choices and patterns experientially\u2026 and once we have them, they become deeply ingrained and a part of our fundamental operating system.<\/p>\n<p>All that means is that we have to exert some conscious effort to remake and relearn more constructive and beneficial patterns.\u00a0 Many say we need regulation to change this\u2026 I disagree.\u00a0 While these external actions would create a more supportive environment, the real change comes from internal choices and actions.<\/p>\n<p>All you need is an honest personal assessment of your current state of health\u2026 and if it\u2019s unsatisfactory to you\u2026 in other words, if you are showing signs of physiological or emotional deficiencies\u2026 then you can choose to change it.\u00a0 Once you create that affirmation and make this decision, then you set about doing it by becoming conscious of your patterns and altering them.<\/p>\n<p>That means learning more about the marvel that is your body temple, and how to lovingly care for it.\u00a0 That most likely will look like changes in shopping or gathering your foods.\u00a0 It won\u2019t take long to figure out that factory farming and frankin-foods aren\u2019t benefiting you.\u00a0 <em>You get to have a brand new adventure\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/opinion\/2015\/08\/22\/farm-table-just-fad\/SruWUMLL6tfrJ0WOrtNTGK\/story.html\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">finding local farmers and food processors that respect and prepare nutritious foods<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0 Relish and embrace this change as positive and good\u2026 AND support and encourage these sources!<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #008080;\">Remember\u2026 the only Constant in life is Change.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We are constantly changing\u2026 evolving\u2026 are you doing so in a balanced and healthy way?<\/p>\n<p>Another fallacy of western medicine is that disease is a normal part of aging.\u00a0 I guess that\u2019s true if you follow their dietary guidelines\u2026 another way of saying it is\u2026 \u201cgarbage in, garbage out\u201d.
