{"id":2721,"date":"2024-04-14T01:47:49","date_gmt":"2024-04-14T09:47:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/?page_id=2721"},"modified":"2025-03-12T01:27:38","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T09:27:38","slug":"generational-perspective","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/generational-perspective\/","title":{"rendered":"\u25ca\u25ca GENERATIONAL PERSPECTIVE  \u25ca\u25ca"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Generational Perspective<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #04444f;\"><strong><em>Understanding How Our Societal Cohorts Act and Interact<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><em>Generation \u2026noun<br \/>\n<\/em><em>The entire body of individuals born and living at about the same time: the postwar generation.<br \/>\nT<\/em><em>he average span of years between the birth of parents and the birth of their offspring, reckoned in accordance with various disciplines, as in human population studies, which typically cite a generational range as 20\u201335 years, and in the classification of Generations X, Y, and Z, which loosely frame periods of 15\u201320 years.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Vicennial&#8230; adjective<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Occurring every 20 years.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Relating to or lasting for a period of 20 years.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Entropy \u2026noun<br \/>\n<\/em><em>A measure of the disorder or randomness in a closed system.<br \/>\n<\/em><em>A measure of the loss of information in a transmitted message.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">A COMPREHENSIVIST VIEW<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Generations are THE measure of human experience on earth.\u00a0 Generations are vicennial&#8230; occurring over a predictable period of time, yet representing a single, specific entity.<\/p>\n<p>Generational patterns are similar to rings in a tree.\u00a0 They distinguish identifiable periods of Earth\u2019s human progression.\u00a0 Each represents individual and collective group progression&#8230; they chronicle the history of humans\u2019 achievements and the impact of each group&#8230; on our earth\u2019s environment and resources.<\/p>\n<p>Another way to think of human generations is as steps\u2026 each generation adds one more step to the cultural and experiential history of our world\u2026 or spaceship Earth\u2026 as <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/r-buckminster-fuller-quotes\/\">Buckminster Fuller<\/a><\/span> called our planet.<\/p>\n<p>Although the estimates of generational life here on earth vary widely\u2026 think somewhere between 5,000 and 15,000 steps along our evolutionary path.\u00a0 To grasp and understand the impact, quantity, and quality of these many past generations, human minds typically consolidate such vast amounts of information into identifiable concepts.\u00a0 I hope to do the same\u2026 although my focus is on the generations that occupied\/occupy the mid-north American continent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">GENERATIONS, THE BOOK<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Since generations are sequential and interconnected\u2026 there are interesting and (IMHO) essential facts that can be gleaned from this natural, human experiential pattern. \u00a0A recent series of books focused on generational interactions demonstrates this concept in stunning detail.<\/p>\n<p>Generational theorists Neil Howe and William Strauss published their first book <em><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Generations-History-Americas-Future-1584\/dp\/0688119123\">Generations: The History of America&#8217;s Future<\/a><\/u><\/em>, in 1991.\u00a0 This seminal text offers a breakdown of generational cohorts within the United States from 1584 to 2069. They identified 24 vicennial groups in America&#8217;s lineage&#8230; 6 pure English, 4 Colonists, and 14\u00a0 American.\u00a0 Of primary importance is the author\u2019s identification of various patterns both between and within these sequential generations.\u00a0 Their primary distinctions are centered on the concept of Turnings&#8230; which identifies 4 generation groups \u2014namely HIGH, AWAKENING, UNRAVELING, and CRISIS\u2014 acting in a predictable, repeating pattern.<\/p>\n<p>They published another book entitled <em><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguinrandomhouse.com\/books\/174648\/the-fourth-turning-by-william-strauss\/\">The Fourth Turning<\/a><\/u><\/em> (1997) which focused on the Fourth Turning of &#8220;CRISIS&#8221; and how past and current generations&#8217; patterns compare&#8230; and how our current generations would act, sharing more interactive details.\u00a0 They highlight the repetitive events that coincide with the 3 prior CRISIS periods&#8230; starting with the Revolutionary War, then the Civil War, and then the Depression\/World War II events.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Neil Howe recently published (2023) a timely and focused book entitled <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.simonandschuster.com\/books\/The-Fourth-Turning-Is-Here\/Neil-Howe\/9781982173739\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Fourth Turning Is Here<\/span><\/a><\/em>, in which he draws from the last 25 years of societal events to focus his past observations even more.\u00a0 He recaps the unique and critical aspects of our 4 current cohorts, focusing on the current CRISIS generational period, and highlights the predominant past themes of war, civil unrest, and cultural shifts&#8230; and highlights how this period produces &#8220;make or break&#8221; situations and events that become the foundation for the next Turning&#8230; HIGH.<\/p>\n<p>His research and writings are clear, concise, shocking, and revelatory\u2026 and point to similar conclusions that I share, and have believed for decades, namely\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>That our country \u2014and the world\u2014 are at a critical place in human history\u2026<\/li>\n<li>That our 6 current generations are the players in this real-life drama\u2026<\/li>\n<li>That they will either rise to the occasion, work together, and solve our current challenges\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Or remain disconnected, distracted, and apathetic\u2026<\/li>\n<li>And succumb to the fear and chaos that threatens to engulf the entire world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So, let me introduce you to your fellow American generations\u2026 all those who are along for the ride with you\u2026 each group uniquely identified by their experiential \u201cplace\u201d on the path.\u00a0 Here is a breakdown showing Generational Name,\u00a0 Age Range, Populations, and Type,\u00a0 (as of 2022):<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #04444f;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Gen. View of Generations&#8221; Postcard \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Postcard-Generation.pdf\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Postcard \u2014 Generations <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">GENERATIONAL PATTERNS<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Howe and Strauss identified several remarkable patterns\u2026 namely, that over the past 5 to 6 centuries, Anglo-American society demonstrated similar, repetitive characteristics.\u00a0 At their most basic level, generations are vicennial cohorts, which the authors identify as Turnings.<\/p>\n<p>These inter-generational birth cycles \u2014when grouped in cycles of 4\u2014 span the length of a long human life, roughly 80 to 100 years.\u00a0 The authors identified this unit of time as a <em><a href=\"https:\/\/oxfordre.com\/classics\/classics\/display\/10.1093\/acrefore\/9780199381135.001.0001\/acrefore-9780199381135-e-8233\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">saeculum<\/span><\/a><\/em>\u2026 an ancient Roman term.<\/p>\n<p>They take their identities from ancient philosophies\u2026 depicting seasonal and cultural attributes\u2026 as outlined here.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1st)\u00a0 \u2014 HIGH (Prophet-Spring) \u2014an inner-driven, moralistic generation\u2014 reflects a period of confident expansion,<\/li>\n<li>2nd) \u2014 AWAKENING (Nomad-Summer) \u2014a cynical generation\u2014 a time of spiritual expansion and rebellion,<\/li>\n<li>3rd) \u2014 UNRAVELLING (Hero-Fall) \u2014an outer-driven, morally complacent generation\u2014 where individualism triumphs over crumbling institutions,<\/li>\n<li>4th) \u2014 CRISIS (Artist-Winter) \u2014a hypocritical generation\u2014 when everything falls apart, preparing the way for spring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Over the past 500 years, these inter-generational patterns have \u2014remarkably\u2014 repeated themselves as faithfully as the seasons repeat themselves.\u00a0 These cycles represent distinct intellectual energies that mirror a basic earthly pattern\u2026 our Seasons.\u00a0 Below are other descriptions they use to identify the different groups;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spring as Rebirth\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Summer as Growth\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Fall as Entropy\u2026 and<\/li>\n<li>Winter as creative destruction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">TURNINGS&#8217; PATTERNS DESCRIBED<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I will quote directly from their work, as their explanation is most effective.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The 4\u00a0 Turnings describe the inter-generational, linear pattern they identify as a <em>saeculum<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2018The <em>First Turning is a High<\/em>\u2026 an upbeat era of strengthening institutions and weakening individualism\u2026 when a new civic implants and an old values regime decays.\u2019<\/li>\n<li>\u2018The <em>Second Turning is an Awakening<\/em>\u2026 a passionate era of spiritual upheaval\u2026 when the civic order comes under attack from a new values regime.\u2019<\/li>\n<li>\u2018The <em>Third Turning is an Unraveling<\/em>\u2026 a downcast era of strengthening individualism and weakening institutions\u2026 when the old civic order decays and the new values regime implants.\u2019<\/li>\n<li>\u2018The <em>Four Turning is a Crisis<\/em>\u2026 a decisive era of secular upheaval\u2026 when the values regime propels the replacement of the old civic order with a new one&#8217;.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are significant because each generation is born into a specific Turning identity\u2026 BUT will energetically experience the other three as they age, since the whole of society moves forward as a collective mass.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">INTER &amp; INTRA GENERATIONAL CYCLES<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Another key pattern is intra-generational aging\u2026 this is the aging progression within each generation.\u00a0\u00a0 The authors identify 4 stages\u2026 <em>Youth<\/em> (0-21), <em>Rising<\/em> (22-43), <em>Mid-life<\/em> (44-65), and <em>Elder<\/em> (66-87).\u00a0 This identifies our linear, experiential life span.\u00a0 Every generational cohort experiences this linear life pattern&#8230; what becomes interesting is how these various cohorts interact with different generational Turnings.\u00a0 When looked at through this filter, we see that the totality of our experiential life is a combination of both patterns.<\/p>\n<p>To combine these overlapping patterns\u2026 picture your generation starting from birth and aging through elder-hood (intra-generational aging)\u2026 all within the larger framework of your familial patterning&#8230; i.e. of grandparents, parents, you, your children, and grandchildren (inter-generational aging)<\/p>\n<p>Both of these patterns happen simultaneously, and mark our societal life experiences, which affect both groups simultaneously and differently\u2026 in other words\u2026 inter-generationally the same, and intra-generationally different.<\/p>\n<p>Using the recent COVID crisis as an example\u2026 it touched all current generations simultaneously\u2026 BUT because each generation was at a different age point, they each had different experiential views and impacts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">INTER-GENERATIONAL CYCLES<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>For decades, I\u2019ve likened the progression of humanity to a relay race\u2026 with the baton being passed from one generation to another. \u00a0After some reflection, and exposure to this well-researched information\u2026 my perspective has matured.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the simplicity of a baton pass\u2026 which either happens or not\u2026 there are several other factors involved that make understanding this right-of-passage a bit more complex.<\/p>\n<p>First \u2014and most obviously\u2014 several generations are interacting simultaneously\u2026 all having intra-generational and inter-generational experiences.\u00a0 The actual \u201cbaton pass\u201d only happens from the oldest to the youngest generation.<\/p>\n<p>To illustrate, using the list above\u2026 there are 4 generations in active participation\u2026 with a 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 6<sup>th<\/sup> generation in transition\u2026 so currently, the 1<sup>st<\/sup> is rapidly transitioning off the planet, and the 6<sup>th<\/sup> is rapidly incarnating onto the planet\u2026 while the middle 4 generations bear the brunt of the collective responsibility of managing and advancing our intellectual and social awareness, and spiritual growth&#8230; or not&#8230; which seems to be the path that we are currently on.\u00a0 Current generations are completely distracted.\u00a0 They are not energetically balanced&#8230;\u00a0 they lack spiritual balance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">SPIRITUAL IMPRINT<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Much like the tides\u2026 inter-generational cycles reflect a rhythmic and predictable pattern\u2026 only my version includes the additional layer of spiritual\/energetic involvement.\u00a0 This additional energy layer is the missing ingredient necessary to create overall energetic balance.\u00a0 <em>(See <a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/faith-or-fear\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Faith or Fear<\/span><\/a> article.)<\/em>\u00a0 The degree to which this infinite energy source is incorporated demonstrably impacts and affects the familial, social, and cultural aspects of all 6 generations.<\/p>\n<p>Our country\u2019s earlier generations (1800-1960) were subjected to relatively similar inter and intra-generational and spiritual dynamics\u2026 but that changed with the Babyboomers.<\/p>\n<p>Because of exponential population growth and technological advances, a dramatic energetic shift occurred during the Babyboomers \u201c<em>Rising<\/em>\u201d period, which altered the experiential patterning of their and subsequent generations.\u00a0 Exponential world changes coupled with other generations\u2019 choices created consequential behavior changes and altered Babyboomers views and actions in their <em>Rising<\/em> and <em>Mid-Life<\/em> stages. \u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/presidents-day-2024\/\">(<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">See Presidents Day 2024<\/span>)<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">A DRAMATIC SOCIETAL\/ENERGETIC SHIFT<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Predominately, the Babyboomers created an abrupt shift away from generations\u2019 old traditions and patterning, specifically regarding the critical role and importance of the Family unit.\u00a0 For millennia, the basic and enduring core of human society was the family unit\u2026 historically identified as father, mother, and children.\u00a0 Most family units were multi-generational\u2026 with several generations living under the same roof or, in close proximity.<\/p>\n<p>A comprehensivist view of this lifestyle reveals several advantages\u2026 all flowing from this multi-generational aspect.\u00a0 It offered security, broader viewpoints, shared input, and a hierarchy to create context.\u00a0 When a child matured out of such an environment, they had grounded wisdom, identity, purpose, values, and a good start toward adulthood\u2026 at the very least, a practical understanding of what the different stages of life could look like.\u00a0 All that changed \u2014dramatically\u2014 with the Babyboomer generation entering their <em>Rising<\/em> period.<\/p>\n<p>The irresistible and overwhelming pull toward the technological\/electronic age essentially distracted them&#8230; and subsequent generations\u2026 with the net result being a decided shift in inter-generational structure and values.\u00a0 Simply put\u2026 the generations-old pattern of America being a collection of families focusing on familial and social values morphed into America becoming a collection of individuals focusing on money and business values.<\/p>\n<p>The focus shifted away from the family unit \u2014consisting of a balance of intellectual and spiritual energies\u2014 to predominately one that championed the individual with a tunneled intellectual viewpoint.\u00a0 The energetic focus shifted dramatically to one of business, profit, material accumulation, wealth, power, and control, with these new intellectual goals being paramount over familial and spiritual values.\u00a0 The net result of this marked societal and energetic shift is a dramatically different focus&#8230; one of short-term, intellectual achievements instead of the previous and more balanced intellectual\/spiritual path.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">BEHAVIORAL DEFECTS<\/span><\/h4>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 240px;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>Challenging times hopefully create Givers &amp; Receivers,<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Givers &amp; Receivers hopefully create prosperity,<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Prosperity invariably creates Takers,<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Takers always create challenging times.<br \/>\n<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Energyman<\/span><\/h6>\n<p>Consequently, 3 generations later, what America lacks \u2013more than anything else\u2013 is internally generated spiritual patterning\u2026 which creates external moral perspectives\u2026 that translate into faith-based generational actions. Essentially, we stopped being a society of morally guided people&#8230; and evolved into a more intellectually driven, cynical group who would rather complain than find solutions.\u00a0 Sadly, we currently resemble renters and squatters more than owners.<\/p>\n<p>In our current age of myopic, intellectual, instant everything\u2026 looking back even a few years doesn\u2019t seem relative, let alone important\u2026 but it is\u2026 after all, how can we gain \u2014or have\u2014 any kind of perspective without a balanced, stable reference?\u00a0 In our headlong rush for material success, we\u2019ve lost sight of \u2014and abandoned\u2014 the ONLY thing that will create the balance necessary to have a complete and fulfilling life\u2026 daily spiritual input.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">EVOLUTIONARY FORCES<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Over the same period, humanity has exponentially advanced in intellectual prowess.\u00a0 My observations lead me to conclude that our lack of balance is because of our NOT choosing internal spiritual access\u2026 which leads to an external, visible void of morality, and moral leadership.\u00a0 Because of this lack of spiritual input\u2026 many of our societal advancements are creating negative outcomes.\u00a0 This truly highlights that fear-based decision-making is detrimental, and creates a poor foundation to build on.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #04444f;\"><em>How does that saying go\u2026 \u201cThe faster I go, the behinder I get\u201d.\u00a0 <\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #04444f;\"><em>Seems to aptly describe our current efforts and progress.<\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">A SPIRITUAL ENERGETIC FORCE<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>As a fast-paced, multi-generational society, we have collectively developed comprehensive, intellectual, and investigative skills.\u00a0 We now need to pause and reflect&#8230; to recognize that all of these intellectual skills have no immediate or long-term purpose or value if they are not tempered or balanced by our collective, internal spiritual guidance and wisdom.\u00a0 Sadly, we need to relearn how to constructively \u2014through faith-driven awareness\u2014 work together to understand and advance our collective whole-being energetic needs and desires&#8230; those based on morally grounded goals.<\/p>\n<p>We MUST recognize \u2014and openly choose\u2014 to collectively seek sustainable paths that support, nurture, and grow our morally based, Constitutionally grounded American Republic.\u00a0 This can ONLY be done by a morally driven consensus\u2026 distilling down our mutual desires and needs into something workable for all people\u2026 similar to the intent and structure of our Founding Documents.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/a-republic\/\"><em>(See A REPUBLIC)<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And regarding our Founding Documents&#8230; they were\/are a timeless spiritually-inspired gift&#8230; provided to those generations, to help them resolve their accumulated, generational issues \u2014which sadly\u2014 they could not&#8230; leaving several critical issues unresolved&#8230; essentially &#8220;kicking the can&#8221; down the road for future generations to deal with&#8230; which sadly STILL has not happened.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, they became a blueprint for future generations to use.\u00a0 Sadly, several of our past generations also could not manifest the spiritual\/emotional means to deal with these still important and still unresolved societal\/moral issues.\u00a0 Or, were they not emotionally\/spiritually equipped or prepared for this critical task?<\/p>\n<p>Hindsight affords us a clear lens to see that the predominate human issues of their day were identified, yet were not completely addressed or resolved.\u00a0 Many of those same issues remain unresolved today.\u00a0 Perhaps&#8230; with our generationally accumulated knowledge&#8230; coupled with a refocus of our energy \u2014 along with an awareness of our collective spiritual wisdom&#8230; our current generations can finally deal with these foundational issues?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">HUMANITY&#8217;S SLIPPERY SLOPE<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>After spending decades observing and interacting with the current generations, and distilling down these experiences, what comes to the forefront is not a list of intellectual traits, but rather a group of emotions\u2026 loosely grouped under <a href=\"https:\/\/sovereignhope.org\/index.php\/faith-or-fear\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Faith or Fear<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, what I see manifesting is an abundance of Fear.\u00a0 Fear demonstrating itself as anger, resentment, greed, and a host of other negative emotions\u2026 all pointing to a desperate lack of spiritually imbued balance.\u00a0 We need to actively seek balance, in the form of experiential LOVE.\u00a0 We need to demonstrate FAITH, HOPE, AND TRUST\u2026 which ultimately all distills down to LOVE.<\/p>\n<p>Except, these days, the fear-based noise level is so high, we cannot hear our \u201cstill small voice\u201d, which is the gateway access to the infinite God energy available to help us balance out life\u2019s uncertainties.\u00a0 IF, we take a chance, and TRUST and partake in that infinite energy, we find a welcomed relief\u2026 a familiar and comfortable sense of being present\u2026 and the feeling of LOVING GRATITUDE.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #04444f;\"><em>LOVE is the quintessential, energetic expression of a cascade of energetic and<br \/>\nphysiological markers that define our perceptions and health.<\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>This awareness is interesting because it becomes evident that our energetic \u201cnudge\u201d is coming from our spiritual-energetic self\u2026 that \u201chigher self\u201d part of us.\u00a0 Thankfully, we are ALWAYS receiving that spiritual energy\u2026 all we have to do is choose to incorporate it&#8230; if we seek balance within our Present or NOW state.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">IMPACT OF <strong>NOW<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Truly being present, is a state of whole-energy awareness.\u00a0 Remember,\u00a0 NOW is the only time in our individual life that we can choose and affect change.\u00a0 When watching the generational interaction and dysfunction\u2026 it becomes apparent to me that there are several critical factors needed for this to have a positive outcome.<\/p>\n<p>The only way I can come to an understanding of this interactive result is by thinking of one-to-one interactions\u2026 how our individual and cumulative experiential actions impact each one of us\u2026 and all of us\u2026 because that is the crux of human energy progression.<\/p>\n<p>Our whole-energy self is necessary for positive outcomes\u2026 and we create this energetic presence by melding both our intellectual and spiritual experiential energies.\u00a0 This all happens through the implementation of our unique gifts, skills, and talents\u2026 through the use of our own personal \u201ctool bag\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">OUR GENERATIONAL TOOL BAG<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Think of our collection of gifts\u00ad, talents, skills, attributes, and experiences as a unique collection of tools in our personal tool bag.\u00a0 Some are unique to us\u2026 while some are passed down\u2026 and some are collected through various experiences.\u00a0 The net result is that we have these tools to go through life with\u2026 and the best thing is that if \u2014along the way\u2014 we develop an awareness that we need another tool, we are free to add it to our collection\u2026 and that\u2019s where it can get tricky.\u00a0\u00a0 Not that we can do that relatively simple thing\u2026 but that we actually come to a clear understanding of its need\u2026 and our need for it.<\/p>\n<p>Awareness requires presence\u2026 presence requires energetic balance\u2026 energetic balance requires awareness of Source\u2026 and hopefully, awareness of Source creates a sense of humility and stewardship\u2026 an appreciation for the gift of life itself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">GENERATIONAL LINK OF HUMANITY<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>While individual human life is fleeting, human energy is not.\u00a0 The \u201cbreathe of life\u201d is a miraculous example and representation of human energy\u2026 something we STILL don\u2019t fully comprehend\u2026 something we should treat with awe and respect.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0a5252;\"><em>Think twice about destroying something you can remake\u2026<br \/>\nThink long and hard about destroying something you cannot even comprehend\u2026<br \/>\nAct cautiously because your choices have permanent, generational impact\u2026<br \/>\nDeeply consider the consequences on our dynamically balanced existence.<br \/>\n<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Energyman<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h6>\n<p>Humanity is the energetic expression of mankind\u2019s intergenerational experience\u2026 and is demonstrated as the byproduct of lives lived.\u00a0 Humanity is similar to a forest.\u00a0 Individual trees come and go\u2026 yet the forest remains.\u00a0 The obvious byproduct of the individual trees are the fallen leaves and broken branches\u2026 which indirectly become the soil\u2026 upon which the new trees find life\u2026 if the soil has maintained sustainable, nutritional qualities.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the byproduct of humanity is the societies and institutions we leave behind.\u00a0 The quality of those is based on the faith or fear oriented choices that predominate each generation\u2019s life experience\u2026 and consequently, the legacy and institutions they leave behind.\u00a0 Are they fertile to advance those generations or are they toxic to regress and even destroy them?<\/p>\n<p>As the <em>Generations<\/em> authors point out, we are over halfway through our current CRISIS period, which historically produced overt periods of conflict&#8230; but does it have to be that way?\u00a0 Absolutely not!!\u00a0 We humans are an adaptable species, capable of consciously recognizing and choosing a path that creates positive, sustainable advancement.<\/p>\n<p>IF we can \u2014intergenerationally\u2014 summon a vibrant, guiding, spiritually-oriented, whole-being energy&#8230; we can redirect the current fear-dominated intellectual energy that pervades our country today.\u00a0 This redirection not only avoids conflict&#8230; but it can deal with the underlying causes created by the accumulation of several generations-old CRISIS events of unresolved issues.<\/p>\n<p>I truly believe that America&#8217;s time has come&#8230; to \u2014for the first time in its young history&#8230; aspire to wholely mirror and implement ALL of the delineated freedoms and values described in The Declaration of Independence and Constitution.\u00a0 I also believe that the current generations are here of purpose&#8230; to accomplish this noble task.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">We\u2019ve inherited a precious gift\u2026 are we valuing and improving it\u2026 or trashing it?<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">It\u2019s a pretty obvious answer from that simple perspective.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>All we have to do is wake up from our intellectually ingrained, distraction-induced trance&#8230;
